5/24 Crop & Chat

Hi all Welcome to our first crop and chat!!!! What's everyone up to this weekend?

Hello! Ben and I went grocery shopping this morning (he was up at 6:30 a.m., ready to start the day) and then we stopped at Target for a new action figure and some coloring books. I'll be here this evening, church and work tomorrow and taking the kiddies and a packed lunch to the park on Monday.

We finally got our sunshine back, it has been miserable all week! So Austin has been playing outside today with our neighbour's dog. Now we are inside trying to keep cool for a while and I am hoping to get some scrapping done!! No other plans for the weekend, unless I go and help my friend with some plastering she needs to do in her house tomorrow.

Hi everyone! Just home with the kids this weekend, nothing fun. Hubby works retail furniture so he always works weekends, and holidays. Monday there is a big balloonfest about 30 minutes away, they launch at 6 am, so it should be fun trying to get the kids up at 5..lol..thats about the extent of our plans.

*sigh* okay the pictures that would have been PERFECT for this challenge (my son placing a flag on my grandpa's grave) are missing. I know I just saw them earlier this week too. How aggravating. Guess I'll have to figure out something else.

That balloon fest does sound like fun!!

I forgot my other big plan this weekend, lol...my mom stopped by this morning with a box of 600 newsletters that she needs folded and bundled into groups of 50! They are for work and since she took a week off last week she had a lot of stuff she had to bring home with her this weekend, so I agreed to help her out. I am folding 50 at a time and having scrappy breaks in between :D lol!

I do this ALL the time!! Just ask Nessa, lmao!! Ihope you can find them, or something else that will work!!

Weell I found some, not even half as good as the ones I wanted. :cry: Just of a trip we took, but they need to be scrapped anyway. Now I'm confused though because they are from when I scrapped 8.5 X 11 so I should really scrap them that size to go in the right order, but I havent scrapped a 8.5 X 11 page in 2 YEARS! LOL

Yay! Glad you found them! And YES Steph does that all the time LOl Somewhere I have a picture of Steve's Dad when he was in the military.... which I didnt even know about since he died WAY before I was in the picture!Hopefully when Steve gets home from work I can scrap some

I have some photos of me and my papa together when I was little. I have scrapped them already, but that's ok, lol!

Hello everyone! I've been getting things done around the house today in preparation for a busy Sunday and Monday. Have I ever lost a stack of photos? - oh, sure. I do it all the time! Makes me SO frustrated!

Ok I think I give up..lol...here's my picture woes..
1) cant find picture of kids putting a flag on Grandpa's grave.
2) found some mediocre ones of a vacation, challenge does say a memorable moment..eh..maybe..
3) Lightbulb, my son was just in a flag ceremony honoring the new hospital being opened. What great pictures! Wait...for some reason when I ordered pictures I didnt order any of those.

Oh no!! Well, maybe if you work on something else, you will have another lighbulb moment?

I haven't accomplished anything yet...Brian showed up for a little visit. Now we are having some lunch, I am going to fold some more newsletters, and then maybe I can get started on something!

I have several layouts that I needed to scan and post for some of the challenges, and I managed to get that completed.

Well, you all are more ahead of the game than I am, I have no idea what pictures I'm going to scrap for this challenge!! Hubby's babe ruth team had their first game today and daughter is with them. They are going to be expecting dinner when they get home, which should be very soon. I guess Im going to have to look later.

:lol: Proof that I'm cool.... that's funny!!!! I have done ZERO scrapping (big shock) but I did get the ribs ready for later and the house all picked up! Almost time for the Cubby game WOO HOO!

The trip idea sounds like a good one, if I can only find the pictures...not much else going on around here...been out with the kids all day, and jumping on the trampoline...now I am dizzy and hope the kids are tired today so that maybe I get a chance to scrap tonight. Other then that weekend plans just include catching up on things around the house and doing some shopping...sorry no fun stuff...lol!

Today A friend of mine wanted to hit the old navy sale so we went there and the mall.. Then back home and we are fixing a supper tonight and having company... Tomorrow I will be here till afternoon My Neice is having her birthday party after 2.. So I am not sure when if I will have time to scrap...

It's been a busy day. I have little DGS Marcus til Wednesday. He's only 14 mos. so he keeps us BUSY! DH and I did make it out for a long bike ride before his Momma left this afternoon though.

Im finally here I cleaned all day so I could scrap all night....lol
I have some pages and recipes to work on.

Were thinking about getting a dog cause of being robbed.
We dont even have to dog yet but I already pulled out a
8.5x11 albums to use for their scrapbook......lol
I havent used this size for about 7-8 years so this should
be fun to see what I can do again.

Anyone work with this size ?? Do you have pages in your gallery
or on your blog that I can peek at for ideas ??

I sarted working on an 8.5x11 landscape album for Brian of family and stuff. I haven't done 8.5x11 for a few years either, I have a hard time with it. But I do like landscape. Here's a couple I have done so far...
