Re: Nov 6 Crop 'n Chat...WE HAVE A WINNER!!!
Woohoo Jill! Great job! Fun design to lift!
Linda, I went hunting ONE time with Brad not too long after we were married. Didn't see a darn thing all day...BORING!!! Actually I'm kind of glad. I think killing Bambi or maybe his dad might have just broken my heart. I don't have a problem eating the meat as long as I don't see the poor deer before it's cooked.
Hope you all have a chance to get your scrappin' on today. I have a few hours before the girls are going to be home so I think I'll work on another LO....right after I finish breakfast.

Re: Nov 6 Crop 'n Chat...WE HAVE A WINNER!!!
Good morning ladies! I have a sick little boy today...Brian called this morning to tell me he had thrown up a couple times, we were supposed to go swimming this afternoon but I told him to just bring him home to momma, so he's lying on the couch playing video games now...I think he's feeling better he keeps yelling at his game, lol, but don't want to take any chances, so we're staying home. Going to try and get some more cards done today, I really need to get a move on!
Re: Nov 6 Crop 'n Chat...WE HAVE A WINNER!!!
Berta, I did get a chance and was able to shoot my first deer, and I thought the same thing you thought, but I was so excited and all, I didn't think twice about shooting her.
Steph, I hope your little guy is all better.
Here is my choice:
And this is what I did...
It's really dreary here and the colors are not true. My journling paper is white, you can't hardly see my bling and that orange is not bright like that. LOL!

Re: Nov 6 Crop 'n Chat...WE HAVE A WINNER!!!
Awesome job on your lifts and make-overs ladies!!!
Austin is feeling 100% better, we just got home from a quick run into town. Had a very tense bus ride back...Kris was on the bus and Austin wanted to go up to where he was but I wouldn't let him, not completely sure where we stand to being with but the ex (or not ex) was there too and I just thought we should leave that whole situation alone, lol! Now I should probably make something light for supper, just in case Austin's miraculous recovery is just an illusion, and get back to being creative...or begin being creative I should say...that computer thing again, lol!!

WOW! These are all great lifts! I'll be leaving some love!
Steph, so glad to hear he's feeling better!
It's been a busy weekend around here. Managed to get some scrapping done though and Kaylee was in 'crafty mode' this weekend. She cut out some paper dolls and clothes to match from my patterned paper scraps. I wonder if they still make paper doll books. I used to play with those all the time!
We made it to the park for our walk today and she played with some kids on the playground.

Awesome work, everyone!! Boy, there are some talented girls here at Sassy!!! I may still try the make over after seeing how wonderful the make overs have become modernized. Thinking along those lines has made the whole concept easier for me.

Love your lift Karen! Great job!
BTW, you commented on the stitching on my LO's. It is all just doodling. I draw a line with my ultra fine marker then just dot all along the line to look like stitching. If I'm feeling really ambitious I sometimes go over the dots with a needle. I used to sew with my machine but when my needle got so dull I couldn't use it I tried doodling. It was so much easier for me that I've never gone back to the machine, in fact I've never even bothered to buy a new needle. Practice on a scrap piece of paper...I bet you'll like it.
