this is not one of my layouts for the contest - still testing [img][/img]
you are close........ put http://etc......then the " alt="" /> after the end....
I find it easier to right click on the LO and use the web address there, on some boards when new LOs are added then the one you put will change with the number of LO entered.
hope that helps
on the album......create one for your things and put it in there......

When you get a link from the gallery make sure you click on YOUR page you
want to show, then right click and click on properties......you want the url link
just COPY it and then paste here. Then put the after the link.
Note if you get a link from the home page of the gallery it wont show your page.
those links are always moving and changing as we get new photos.
Hope this helps alittle....if you have question please ask were here for you

Re: **Nov 14 weekend crop**
Michelle, you will need to create yourself an album to put everything in. Unless it is for a contest (or DT assignment), it always goes into your own personal album. All of the instructions for setting up your album are in THIS THREAD (I am tired and don't feel like typing it out! LOL!) Hope that helps! If there is anything you don't understand, just ask!
We just got home from a very loooong day! We headed out at 10 this morning, went out to the LSS for a bit, stopped in at Christmas Chaos (huge craft sale) to see my mom, came home for a bit, went back down to see my mom again and give her some information. Then we met up with Brian on the bus, went to WalMart and the dollar store, caught the {very late} bus back downtown, and missed my connection to get home! Luckily Brian had just gotten some money so he paid my cab home since the next bus was not until 8pm...this was only at 5:30. Now we are home and I have a splitting headache! I need to put some food in Austin's tummy, find somethin for this headache, and then get creative for a while...hopefully!!
Michelle, hope you are not getting a flu! I think Austin and I are coming down with one, but I am in denial! LOL!
Glad to hear the surgery went well Terri!
I think it's going to snow...I am FREEZING and my legs have been REALLY sore today!!!

That's very sweet of you Terri!!
I still haven't gotten to any of these! I did get rid of my headache and got 12 cards done. Maybe I'll dig out my disk with my baby photos on it and do a digi page before I head to bed tonight!

Re: **Nov 14 weekend crop**
Good morning ladies!!! Is everyone enjoying their favorite morning beverage? I have to have coffee with vanilla flavored creamer - if not, there goes my whole day Anyway - Steph - thank you for the very valued info about the albums!!! I did end up creating one last night - just downloaded photos of my first 2 layouts so will be posting them here soon!!! I hope you all start feeling better!!! I woke up with a major backache - hoping the coffee helps!!! Terri, we have bow hunting going on here and gun hunting starts next Saturday - All the hunters are in town showing off their prize deer hanging off the back of their trucks, etc. - Apparently. a few weeks ago - a man shot the worlds largest buck in our county - Buffalo County - this deer was suppose to have been in the Field and Stream Magazine a few issues back for being super huge - but there is some controversy about this deer being the biggest shot, because there could be one in Canada - Our county is right next to the Mississippi River and we have alot of valleys, hills, corn fields and streams - very pretty country - but I am not all that into deer hunting!!! It's just fun to go downtown the night before Thanksgiving - have a beer or two and catch up with people who are home for the holidays and hear all the "deer stories!!!" ok, chat with you all later!!!! michelle

meterr wrote:awesome Steph!! I love the colours and the little vintage graphic!! you were a kid not that long ago from the looks of the pics!!!!
LOL! You're right...I am only 24...turning 25 in a month! Which would make those photos about 20 years old I guess.
My morning beverage of choice the last week has been hot lemon for this crappy cold I am pretending I don't have! LOL! It's getting a lot harder to ignore, I feel like crap today! Nothing planned for the day except this afternoon we need to walk up to the middle school and vote in the civic election...better dig out my newspaper and read up on the candidates I guess, lol!
Great layous Michelle! Glad you got the image posting figured out...but you actually have the wrong links there. The link from the address bar at the top changes everytime someone else uploads a layout, so once someone else uploads, the links you posted will link to someone else's layout...it's a Coppermine thing, it drives me nuts! SO, what you need to do is under your photo, there should be a list of info, including a url...I think I set it to default so it should be there, but if it isn't, just click on the little blue circle with the "i" in it at the top left of your photo. Anways, in that information under your photo, there should be a url...copy and paste that link if you just want to link to your image. You can tell the difference in the links because the number at the end will have a - sign in front of it when it is the right one Hope that helps!! This gallery takes a little getting used to!
Re: **Nov 14 weekend crop**
Thanks Steph!!
Can you tell I grew up before computers were in schools??? I think my 3 year old would be better with this - I have noticed this gallery is a little different from other sites, but you know, I will get use to it!!!! I am a tactile learner - it has to be hands on for me If I read it, it doesn't work as well - So I get to practice now with 2 more layouts:
This is for challenge #2 - Scrap a uniform: - titled: My Job!
I could not find any relatives with them in uniform and I have been wanting to do a layout about my job - I may not be able to go back to because of a back, neck and shoulder injury - which saddens me big time: - It felt good to make it. I am in my lovely uniform - grey shirt and blue EMS pants.
Challenge # 4 - Scrap a name: Titled: Johnson - Together Forever
This is of my parents - If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't be here - you can't really see it, but it reads Together above Forever)
Question, do I really need to post a link from the gallery to here? If I do, I will do it later - my husband is getting anxious to hit the road - we are going up North for the afternoon - checking out our camper - we keep it parked at a seasonal campground - he want's to measure for the stairs he wants to make - Hope everyone is having a great day!!! Be safe and chat with you all later!!! Hey, does anyone have snow yet? We have had a few flurries, nothing to amount to!!!!! happy scrapping!!!! michelle p.s. and I know someone told me about the gallery thing changing the layouts/number thing - I just have scrapping on the brain!!

Re: **Nov 14 weekend crop**
Mchelle...if you post the image, then no, you don't have to post the link as well. One or the other is fine.
And just so everyone knows, the gallery is having issues at the moment! Totally my fault and I have a support ticket in to try and get it fixed! Obviously the images are still there somewhere, or else they wouldn't be showing up in the thread, so I am hopeful!! I am trying once again to get the NEW (not Coppermine) gallery installed, and the plan is to have everything transferred from the old so we don't have to start from scratch...unfortunately that iswhere the problem occurred, so I am not positive that is going to be possible. Keeping my fingers crossed though!! For now, while the gallery is down, you can use photobucket or anoher gallery, and I will let you know here when it is all fixed!
