Friday's Crop and Chat 1/16/09**Updated with Details***Winner***posted at end***

Hello -

We are back from our friends - julia and I had fun today, while my dh had to work - poor guy - so far no ambulance runs - that is good - on call until tomorrow at 7am - I will start making my cards later tonight - I haven't scrapped in over 24 hours - something is wrong with that picture!!! I just got the Indie Art cartridge for my cricut so I was playing around with that last night!

Tammy I love your cards. How do you like your cartridge? I have that one on my list. I take it that you made the guitar, butterfly and rose with it... Awesome!

I had a great time at the crop today! I ended up seeing people I used to work with and people that I work with. i also meet new people that work at the hospital too. We are going to try to keep each other in touch so we can hopefully scrapbook together again!

I also need to get involved in the scrapbook group through meetup.com to meet other scrapbookers! I had a fun time.

I feel inspired today to use my acrylic stamps and cricut! I might make me some cards tomorrow if the inspiration stays with me till morning! I am going to work on getting scrap desk cleaned off!

And now we have another kid in the house...taking in another un-wanted teen.

I love this cartridge!! I can't see myself using all the images on it, but there are a few I can see myself using all the time! I've been wanting this one for a while, and it was on sale so the price was right!

Great cards Janice!!!! I finished up another batch of Valentine cards...I am having fun with this K & Co mat stack they had on clearance at Michaels...just the right size for making cards, I am trying to finish off the stack...having a blast trying to do that. I really need to kick myself in the other direction and make some boyish cards too, and still haven't found those stamps to make get well cards yet! What does everyone have on tap for today??? Don't know here, they wouldn't let us in to the storage place because of ice so can't take down my tree...also having problems wih my kitchen sink...it is frozen outside...I so want out of this stinkin house, I tell ya!! Martha hope hubby is able to hold his own today and you get some time to make cards...Shel we will be on your case...if you don't get any cards posted. Amy sure sounds like you have been really busy, I am glad you came out to play...glad to hear how you are doing. Sounds like you have your hands full with teenagers. How many you got now in the house??? My son just turned 18 and the other 13, can get pretty nutty with them and the much younger kids!

I had picked up one of those BG baby card kits to try it out, and I have to say that it was pretty fast and fun too...just added some ink and the glue...made the boy ones and will be off to get the girl ones done...after I do the cat boxes...Yuck, well have to do some work today... So glad I picked that up on clearance at Michaels...at least now I know they are fun to do and come with everything...cards, envelopes, rubons, chipboard etc!! Will post them soon! Hope everyone is keeping warm and having a good day!!

I ended up staring at bingo on pogo last night, I just could not get in the groove to do anything else. I don't sleep well when I am not in my own bed, and Friday night at Brian's was no exception...didn't fall asleep until after 4 sometime and it wasn't a good sleep once I was asleep, so once I sat down last night I was just exhausted!! Now, I am going to do my workout for today, help Austin set up his train track, pop a video in for him and then I WILL make some cards!!!

Sometimes I love a snowy day and can just stay in and scrap the day away! YAY! It's just been poking down the snow all day. I don't like that the roads are getting covered though and DH will have to drive on them soon coming home from work, but it's pretty out.
