10/24 Weekend Crop & Chat!

Well, it's nice to know I'm not the only one who won't watch scary movies. My daughter loves them but she always waits til I go to bed or out of the house to watch one. DH just came in with Pizza...YUM!!! No cooking here tonight either. But I did get one LO done. Gotta go eat while it's hot!!

We ae back from trick-or-treating downtown, didn't get many pictures, the batteries are wearing out and not holding their charge very well. We just came home to rest for a while. My mom is going to stop by in a bit, then we need to get ready and go down for our dinner, which we just found out yesterday Austin is allowed to come, so we are bringing him with us to dinner then taking him to my friend's house before we go back to the dance.

Steph...sounds like you are having a great day and a fun time...we are finally getting rain here today! Went to gymnastics today for my DD...did alittle shopping...I needed to get her black tights before Halloween, did some dishes and just really hanging out. Wish I could scrap but can't do that while everyone is awake, will have to wait till later! Hope to do some scrapping later and will have to do a ton of laundry tomorrow. Behind the eight ball here as my DS has a birthday on thursday (no presents) and friday is halloween and I have no candy! Guess I better get crackin, but just have no engery! Hope everyone has had a great day!

I'm finally sitting to relax or try. Its been a busy day. Went with my sister today to get her family pics. She's been dealing bell's palsey for the last week and not getting much sleep. So I went over there to help with the kids. That way she could try to rest. We took them to the Halloween thing in their town. Now we are home for the night

My layout is finally done, I'll take a pic in the morning. It is rainy and windy and nasty here tonight, figures the first night I'm here alone. Should I watch a scary movie?

I know she appericated it too. She wasn't able to get any sleep due to the pills. But she did get to lay on the couch and rest. I wish I could of done more for her. I even offered to stay over night if she needed me too. Lids had fun playing together. It has been a while since the girls got to see Austin. They had fun going to the Halloween thing her town puts on. Got lots of great pics. I will post a few in the general gallery.

I was going to do some scrapping today. But as you already know my plans were helping Nicole. Hope to get some stuff done tommorrow. After all she let me bring home her Cricut Expres​sion(I have the little one).

Now we are watching a movie. NOT ANYTHING SCARY. Don't do well with them. Neal loves them and would watch them all the time. He loves SAW. In fact he can not wait to see the 5th one. Both the boys are already in bed sleeping. They went on their own

What a wicked night here last night!! The rain was nasty and it was so windy, leaves everywhere! Then we lost power at 1 o'clock this morning! This morning it is absolutely beautiful though! But I'm planning on spending my time between scrapping and working. Here's my layout for this weekend. I got to try out my new punch I got yesterday at AC Moore. I really wanted the threading water punch, but of course when I have the money to get it it's not there anymore. And they hand no brown ink pads either, weird?? And another pet peeve about AC Moore, I love that they carry the more popular brands of pp now, even if they don't come out right away, but they sort their paper by color, so if you want all of a specific line, you have to hunt for it! Like yesterday I saw that they had the BG two scoops, but I had to hunt for all the sheets of paper!! Anyway, enough ranting! Loved the sketch Deanna!

The last time I was at AC Moore I noticed they displayed their papers that way! How crazy!

WOW... what pretty pretty layouts girls!!

I'm home from our retreat.... had a lot of fun, but still fighting this cold.... so didn't get as much done as I would have wished...... but I did get about 15 layouts done (I think.....) still need to scan and post everything, so I have a lot of work to do LOL.....

But it was real nice to have all the meals prepared and some peaceful time!

We have my mom and dad's halloween party tonight... it's ALWAYS a lot of fun for the kids and us too..... so... that's what's up tonight. Check in with ya later!

Sounds like fun and 15 layouts is a lot! So nice you could just scrap and not worry about all the other stuff!! Hope your cold gets better though!

No time to scrap this weekend, and no time to watch scary movies, either. My Dad is still in the hospital, and not recovering as quickly as we'd like. But he is coming along, just a little slow. I'm home to take a shower and do a couple of loads of laundry, then back to the hospital until my mom (and dad) get ready to go to sleep. She is going to stay with him again tonight. The hospital brought in a cot for her to sleep on. She said it's more comfy than the recliner!
