Re: Weekend Crop & Chat May 15th
We're back! We've been home for a while, been playing with Austin and all his new toys, lol. It didn't end up raining and the party went really great!! I am exhausted!! We're going to have supper and then I may need a nap before I can get much of anything done!
Tammy, love your layout!!!
Can't wait to see what you've been creating Michelle!

I love your LO Tammy! I so want to learn to do digi!
Glad Austin had a great party Steph. Kids parties are so fun!
We spent this morning at the park watching the fair parade. Tyeler and Paige got to ride on the Sheriff Dept. float with their daddy. Then they came home and played in the sprinklers for a couple of hours (103 here today...yikes!!). Paige fell asleep on the floor before she even got redressed. I lifted Tammy again.

I love how you used this awesome kit. You had better make a copy for me to work with. With dial up, I would be downloading it next week. I don't think that I remember this picture of ma and George.

Martha, I feel for you! I went through years of back pain and ended up having major back surgery when I was only 22. Hope the injection helps you feel better!

Great layouts ladies!!!
I am still hoping to get to this eventually! We are going to my friends house today to do some work. We both are coordinators for the Folk Fest this year and we have to do some coordinating, lol, and I'm goning to bring my business plan work along and see if we can knock out a few assignments on that as well! Austin is packing up almost all of his birthday presents to play with while we are there, lol!!!

Have a great time Steph!
Martha... I'm so sorry you aren't feeling well.... that totally stinks....
Well, I got my front bed cleaned out... and a real good start on what will be my garden area.. I had to go buy a cultivator and the battery is charging right now, so I get a little time to play
AWESOME sketch Brenda... and what a gorgeous page!

Re: Weekend Crop & Chat May 15th
Well, that was a quick visit! My friend was trying to avoid someone...someone I also try to avoid like the plague...so we did our coordinator stuff really quickly and then we all got back on the bus and Austin and I came home and her and her girls headed to WalMart. Austin's out playing in his sandbox and I have been doing my annual cleaning of the porch and outdoor furniture. Going to work on some digi stuff now, I think I have the PERFECT photo to go with Martha's kit so I want to get that done for sure!
Re: Weekend Crop & Chat May 15th

These are all wonderful, ladies!!! It's been a busy weekend here. DH is off and we've had DGD Kaylee. Visited DD which is about 2 hrs. away and Mom's been in the hospital a couple days with a kidney infection. She's feeling better now.
I was inspired by this May Becky Fleck PageMap.

Re: Weekend Crop & Chat May 15th
Wow, there have been some busy scrappers this weekend. Our weekend didn't go as planned. We got home from the market yesterday to a message that my FIL had been admitted to the hospital with a bacterial infection in his bloodstream. I sure hope the antibiotics can get it cleared up soon. He just had a heart valve replaced about 18 months ago, and they don't want it to colonize there. If so, he'll have to undergo surgery again. Hoping praying for the best.
I did scrap a little this afternoon. I worked on the telephone tag.

Love all the work you girls have been doing, the scraplifts, sketches the digi stuff etc. Trying to get something done here but don't know if it will get done tonight or tomorrow, I just hope to get it done sometime working on two techniques...sorta! Well anyway, hope you all have a good night, that all your loved ones get better and that those in pain, have a better day tomorrow, pain free!

Re: Weekend Crop & Chat May 15th
I did three different things...first the little pebbles were diffrent colored so put them in a baggie with a few drops of ranger ink...and changed them to pink! The words are written on plain white cardstock with a sharpie...then to match better with my paper used my cats eye's three different chalk inks to get the effect. Then the flowers (I saw this somewhere else and loved it) are made out of patterned paper...doodled on and petals are curled...and yep it is stiff and holding the shape. I did mine with the retro flower punch, but I am sure you could cut your own use die cuts etc.
