Re: Feb 27th Crop & Chat...
My computer is having major issues loading photos but I KNOW that everything everyone has posted is fabulous!!
Glad Braden is doing better Tammy!
I grabbed the wrong bag of sewing stuff for my grandma's luckily I had packed some card-making supplies as well so I got four cards made today! I'll probably wait until tomorrow to post them. I need to work on some digi tonight to, the month has totally slipped away from me, I have a kit to get done and my ScrapCity dt layouts to get done still! So I will be glues to my computer screen tonight!!
Berta, a lot of the techniques take longer in digi...for instance tearing a piece of paper in real life takes seconds, but in digi there are so many steps to it so it takes a lot longer. I usually can do a digi layout faster than paper but I don't always use a lot of techniques and they're usually pretty simple, so that is why. Just depends what you're doing and I guess experience probably helps things go a little faster too.

Sheri, I'll go see if I can find directions for the flower. Once I learned to fold the one circle RIGHT it went pretty fast.
Here's what I did with it. I lifted Michelle's 'Floppy' LO.
Here's hers
Here's my lift
My son was my escort to this Hawiian Luau. He took first in the men's hula hoop competition.

Re: Feb 27th Crop & Chat...
I should have read this thread first Berta... I asked how you did that in another thread!! COOL!!! Thanks for sharing.... I love it!!
And BTW... it is a bit of misconception that digi is faster...uh nope.... If you are doing straight digi pages..... it IS SLOWER for me.... probably, if my computer were faster and I were too.... it would take about the same amount of time.... the only thing I can think of that would be faster are quick pages.... and I don't do them...

Your flower is awesome Berta...and looks like alot of work..with all the layering!! I have only done one page this weekend and need to get it posted...I worked on putting away a huge stack of layouts into books last night...what a project, looks like I need to get more new books started! Hope you girls all have a wonderful scrappy day, we have some snow here today...not much but enough to just make it messy!

Re: Feb 27th Crop & Chat...
Wow, you ladies got busy!! Lost of inspiration here!
Linda, the circle size is up to you, depending on how big you want your flower to be.
I finished 2 more lifts for the 'Mug Shot' challenge. Both are lifts of Michelle C's pages.

tammy I made this Itialian dish It reminded me of Lasanga, You cook jumbo shells and stuff them with parmesan cheese and ricotta and mottz. and spoon over you meat mixture. It was good and I gave some to mom and she liked it.
