Valerie's "First Day of School" Challenge Empty Valerie's "First Day of School" Challenge

Do you remember how excited you were on the first day of school? If you were starting a new school, it might also have been a little frightening, as well. There are many 'firsts' in our lives, and that's what this challenge is all about. I'd like you to create a layout about a 'first'. It can be any 'first' - first time riding a bike, first vacation, first time holding a baby, first car, first anything!

And since this layout is all about things that are new to us, use something from your stash that is relatively new (and be sure to tell us what it is). Have fun with this one, and I can't wait see what 'firsts' you come up with! I will send a RAK to the winner of this challenge (chosen from a random drawing).

Entries are to be newly created for this challenge. There is no combining of crop challenges. All entries must be linked to this thread by midnight PST on Monday, September 14th.

I've been going thru old photo albums and came across these photos They are really bad but I know I'd never part with them so I'm scrapping them instead. The alphas in '1st' and the die-cut butterflies are new.

Great page, Berta. I thought about 1st baby, grandchild etc. I decided on Lie's 1st day of school since he didn't go back to Lincoln but Terri enrolled him in Madison since there were too many kids in his room & he was called "bad" the 1st day. He is happy and getting along great in the new school. This will be a page he will remember as "changing his educational life" when he is older.
