Steph's "Stationery" Class
Good afternoon ladies! Are you ready for your first class? We are going to make a nice easy teacher gift today...a set of cards inside a cute little folder
You will need the following supplies:
1 sheet of 12x12 patterned cardstock/heavy paper
Trimmer
Scoring tool
Scissors
4 card bases (2 sheets 8.5x11 cardstock)
4 card envelopes
To Make The Folder:
1. Trim patterned paper to 12 x 9 1/4 inches
2. Score down the center of the 12" side (at 6") and at 2.5" up from the bottom edge
3. Fold in half inside out along score lines, outsides facing each other. Cut a triangle 1/4" from the fold at the bottom edge, angled up towards the intersection of the score lines
4. Fold up the bottom flaps
5. Adhere the outside edge of each flap
6. Insert your cards and envelopes into the pockets of the folder
7. Decorate your folder!!
**I will share mine later when I get it finished
Your homework for the week is to create a folder, and 4 cards to go inside it. There are some great new card sketches up at PageMaps this month if you need some inspiration for your cards!!
Entries are to be newly created for this challenge. There is no combining of crop challenges. All entries must be linked to this thread by midnight PST on Monday, September 14th.

Re: Steph's "Stationery" Class
Thank you, Linda & Steph. I worked on the cards last night since I needed Christmas cards anyway and fearfully made the folder this morning. Paper projects like this, never seem to go together right for me but I was happy with the way this project turned out.

Great work and neat idea, what a great teacher gift, they always need thank you cards or different ways to communicate with parents.
