Valerie's "Inspiration Challenge"

We all take inspiration from the things we see. I found this really cool photo at a website that I love to go to for inspiration called Oh Joy! This is an alley in Sydney, and I'm really interested to see which side you're drawn to.



Now what does this have to do with our "Love is in the Air" Crop? Well nothing, really, other than I love this photo! My challenge for you is to choose one side or the other and use the colors as inspiration for a layout. Will you be drawn to the natural tones, or the brights?

IF you choose the natural tones, you must use use brads and buttons on your layout.
IF you choose the brights, you must use flowers and bling on your layout.

I can't wait to see which you choose! I will have a RAK for the winner of this challenge (chosen by a random drawing)

Entries are to be newly created for this challenge. There is no combining of crop challenges. All entries must be linked to this thread by midnight PST on Monday, February 22nd.

That alley is exactly the way im feeling right now!!!!!
Im doing alot of genealogy research, and have traced my hubbys family back to 1210! I told his sister, but she could really care less, but to me, sitting here in 2010, with my computer looking at all those old names,and their accomplishments during all those different time frames makes me feel connected in a way to all these old people. The alley is old facing new, but they are forming a walkway that people nowdays can travel down. Makes me think those old dead peope can still help and influence us today, if you let them.

Im going to do this challenge later as well... I have an idea of intermixing both walls!!!

I actually got in trouble for printing out this pic at the photo kiosk at walmart!! The guy told me its against policy to have photos taken inside walmart stores! Okk... what about the website PEOPLEOFWALMART.COM ?
Geez!! And the guy was really rude too!!!!!

You can't take photos in Walmart??? I've never heard of such a thing! I guess you showed them. Glad you didn't get arrested.

I love it that you're about split on which side of the layout you used. All of them are great layout! I like both neutrals and brights - just depends on my mood and my photos.

Im thinking of doing one for fun with all VERY vintage looking PPs, photo, elements etc... EXCEPT 1 thing, like a neon element!
