Re: Round Two: Photos
Remember all those scrapbooks I was going thru? I came across these panoramic photos that for some reason I hadn't put into my photo albums. (I wasn't big on scenic photos back then but DH always took a LOT of them) The butterflies, and flowers were cut from a card that was from someone I can't remember. Wish you could see the flowers better...they are pink with metalic gold...so pretty! The leaves were from a corsage that I'd saved but didn't know from what event.
I've just recently started doing landscape pages so I really wanted to do something with this pic (10X4.5). The title comes from a program that I love on the Weather Channel.

Re: Round Two: Photos
Wow, everyone has made such awesome LOs! I love them all. I have been so busy both moving and trying to rearrange the house for all of us that I have had no time as well as no place to work. I stayed up until the wee hours to make my example for the C&C and it looks like it will be the same tonight for the Miss Sassy page. Things will be better next week until the final moving to the permanent apartment. Well. not to finish posting & get going. Wonderful job, everyone!!!!

Re: Round Two: Photos
Here is my entry for this round -
The photo is about 11 x 10. The PP is BG & Doodlebug. I added some blue plastic mesh, a trim by CI, and assortment of flowers, Bazzill buttons, and a JB journaling tag. The LO has been mounted on black Bazzill CS. I used my Nestabilities to cut the shapes at the lower left and right corners. I printed the photo on 12 x 12 photo paper that's supposed to last for 250 years. Think I'll be around to see if they are being truthful? Thanks for looking!

Re: Round Two: Photos
I just loved this challenge as did all of you - it shows in your designs! Great job, girls!
Shana - I love those colors together! The flowers are a perfect touch. Oh, and that photo is to die for! It's a beautiful LO!
Julie - Your little one is just adorable. I love the patriotic theme from the LO and the clothing. I love how your DS is looking upward. He is a beautiful child. Beautiful!
Martha - Tell me you got the juice stains out of her adorable dress? The photos are so precious! I
think the pink provides a perfect contrast with the colors of the photo. Your eyes are drawn right to
the images! Gorgeous!
Berta - What can I say? Your work is always wonderful - this LO has such whimsy to it. The butterflies and flowers are perfect with the photos. Just lovely!
Karen - I love this and I think Marilyn would also! What a clever idea for a LO! The heart border is just so delicate as is the photo. I just love the concept! Fantastic!
Janelle - This is so precious. Look at you! I love the ring of flowers. Did you make them? It must have taken such a long time! I love the dainty feel of the design. Lovely!
Karen - Your LO is beautiful! I really love the girly feel you've given it. The border of sparkly hearts is beautiful (Did you make them? Can you buy them?) I love the ribbon and butterflies, too! This is such a precious photo, too! Fabulous!
Congratulations, ladies! You made it through week 2! I love the inspiration I'm seeing. These LOs are just stunning!

Re: Round Two: Photos
I started measuring my photos and found that most were 5 x 7 except for a couple poster-sized portraits. I found this one which was a strange size-7 x 10. I remember this day and I was thinking at the time, "Are the reindeer outside?"

Karen, I just love Christmas photos with Santas! Your photo is precious and the LO is sooooo cute! It reminds me of my childhood (long before yours, LOL). You did a great job on the layout and the design is fantastic!
