Weekend crop challenge-May 29th
TGIF This is the final weekend of the month of May. June is just around the corner. June is a month for celebration! There are Graduations (My DGS, Andre, is graduating from Madison High School in Adrian, MI). June is the traditional month for marriages. Then, if you remember Alice Cooper’s “School’s Out for the Summer”………Here is another reason for celebration. (Even for teachers!!) There are June birthdays like my DGS, Andre who will be 18. I am sure that you will be able to think of others.
My challenge to you is to do a LO (any size or shape), paper or digi or a project. using “Celebration” as the theme. If you are a card maker only or need to make cards in this area, you can substitute 2 cards for the challenge
Of course, we MUST have some kind of little twist. You must use at least 1 star And the word “celebrate” in the title or in the journaling.
SUMMARY-Celebration Challenge-Project, paper or digi LO or 2 cards
Use at least 1 star
Use the word “celebrate” in the title or journaling
Have fun working on this challenge over the weekend. Challenges are due to be posted by Monday at midnight!
Now I have to start working on mine along with a dozen other projects!

Great page Deanna! CUTE PHOTOS!!
Love your red, white and blue Tammy! Awesome digi work!!
This will be easy peasy since there is always something to celebrate here. Great challenge Karen!
I'm hoping to get a whole lot of photos scrapped this weekend since I'm not sure after the 1st what I'll be able to get done. DD is going to see the baby tonight and she's taking my camera. Woohoo more photos!
It's HOT here in sunny California so I have an excuse to stay indoors.....and scrap. The girls want to scrap with me so I'm off to help them find pics. Have a great evening you all!!!

Great pages Deanna and Tammy! Have fun scrapping with the girls Berta!
We just got home from running some errands...like getting some overdue RAKs in the mail! We're having a quick bite to eat and then we are off to CELEBRATE (LOL) Austin's friend Peter's birthday. We're going to see the movie "Up" at the theatre.

Speaking of overdue RAKS, I have mine that I have to get in the mail. I was hoping to do that today but we are so busy at work, I couldn't take the time to get to the post office. So they will be going out next week. I hope to take Haley to see Up this weekend too.
Deanna, love your page, I love the felt stars and Tammy I also love the red, white and blue. Great job ladies. I hope to get some time to do this. Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Deanna, I love this LO and especially the rounded corners, the pp and the felt stars. Such a wonderful idea to take "before and After photos. Great job!
Tammy, I love this digi kit. It really has some cool embellishments. Awesome job celebrating Memorial Day and showing special family times.
Berta, I can't wait to see more photos of that new baby. You couldn't ask for a more special celebration than a new life!

Re: Weekend crop challenge-May 29th
It's a beautiful day here today, but I'm either having allergies or coming down with a cold! UGH! Just got back from taking DGD Kaylee to the park for a couple laps around and then she played alittle at the playground. It was really packed there, so we headed to Chick-fil-a and then she picked out a book at Borders.

Re: Weekend crop challenge-May 29th
We were at a birthday party at the beach today. It was fun, Austin is wiped right out...he just doesn't know it, lol! He's going to sleep good tonight though! And I am hoping to get some scrappin done once he does go to sleep. I started a page last night but didn't get very far before we went out. So I want to finish that one and get started on one for this challenge.
Re: Weekend crop challenge-May 29th
I know just what you are talking about, Michelle. I ran errands and got home, made dinner, stuck the dishes in the sink and ran to the computer and it is already after 8 pm.
It has been a beautiful day though except for a brief 10 minute rain. Probably just enough rain to perk up those dandelions. Everyone has been talking about the fact that they have never seen them grow so fast or so large as they have this Spring. It has been a strange Spring in other ways too. There are large trees by the college and smaller ones along the main street downtown (I don't know what kind) that weather conditions this year have caused to produce pure white leaves. They were white for almost 2 weeks and then turned green. I have never seen anything so beautiful!

Re: Weekend crop challenge-May 29th
My day flew by too! I did get on LO done but not for this challenge yet. I don't know how much scrapping I'll get done after tomorrow so I'll get this challenge done by then.
Love your new do Michelle! I'm going to color my hair tomorrow. It's been many many many years since I've had anything professionally done. I cut my own and color my own. Nothing fancy as you can tell by my photos.
GDD Tyeler is at a sleepover and GDD Paige is getting to stay up late. It's almost 10 tho, and grandma is getting tired. So time for bed here in a minute. Night all!!

Re: Weekend crop challenge-May 29th
Good morning ladies!!
Thanks Berta.... my hair is an indulgence that I'm getting used to.... it's so nice to have someone else do it for me!
Well.. it's SO SCRAPPY day... I don't really have anything else to do today... I can find a zillion things if I look, but I think I'll not look LOL.
I actually was thinking of setting up the old desktop computer for Nathan... he's been asking for one... that'll take a little time.... that and scanning some pictures from my MIL.... that'll be cool...
SO... I'll be in my room soon

Re: Weekend crop challenge-May 29th
Michelle, I love your hair. It fits you perfectly. Love it.
I finally made time to get a layout done for the crop and chat. June is another month of many birthdays for us, so I did a layout of all the June birthdays. I added the word celebrate and some stars.
Now to get ready to go see the movie Up with DGD Haley and mom, an DGS's Bailey and Bryce and mom. Then back home to get some work done and maybe another layout. I hope...
Have a great day everyone.
