Valerie's August Reveal

Okay, sorry to be coming in last, but here's one of the layouts I've created with this month's kit. I'll add more. Unlike Steph and Amy, I had no trouble finding photos to go with these papers. Maybe because I've got lots of little girl photos!

Thanks. As soon as I saw the square of paper with those beautiful flowers, I grabbed my scissors and began cutting!

Valerie, what kind of scissors do you use for your cut work?

I use the EK Success cutterbee scissors for my cutwork. I love them! I have two pair of these - one regular pair and another pair that has a non stick coating on them so they are great for cutting sticky things.

Thanks Valerie! I am really beginning to love cut work and I know I need to invest in a good pair! I think my LSS has these too!

I've updated my original post with another layout. I'm really lovin' all this pink (my favorite color) and the pink+green combination (one of my favorite color combinations!)

Tammy, those scissors are pretty easy to find. I think you'll like them. They are under $10.

Those are the BEST scissor I've ever used! LOVE 'em!

Tammy, our Wal-Mart carries them too and probably cheaper than a LSS.

Yep, our WalMart has those too, pretty cheap! I prefer a knife and have been debating about the Fiskars finger tip knife, I may pick it up on Wednesday!

I know, Steph. I didn't even know I had it when I started the layout. I was sorting through all my goodies and decided not to mix the daisy-type flowers with the tulips, when all of a sudden I spotted the tulip!
