STAFF

I would like to change up our staff to ladies who will be staying here with us.
If you are staying and would like to help out in any little way just let me know.
We always need someone to run weekend crops, help answer questions and such.
Deanna and I will still be working on challenges.
Questions of the days are open for anyone and everyone to post on !
Also if you have fun ideas for our now small closer knit family of sisters let me know

I posted on another topic but I would be happy to help out as I can (especially if I have some direction Amy!!)

Ladies I really am trying, I am getting tons of emails and such about Steph
not being around and understand. I started this site way back when and was
told I wasent doing a good job. The ladies helping me were all going to leave
or I could give the site to Steph.....so I did cause I have know Steph for a long
time and didnt want all our new friends to leave. I knew Steph would be good at this.
When she was here she really did do a great job
I did sone changes and such but was asked not to step on her toes and such.
So I backed off.....but it seems Steph has disappeared again so I have decided
to take the site back. I hope its not too late to save the site.

For those ladies who are helping out...let me know if you still want those jobs.
I will be putting together a new team and want to make sure whos staying.
If you have something you want to see on the site , let me know and see if we
can work something out. You can also run something if you want to.
Im not going to have so much going on that I cant talk, crop and scrap too
I love a site when everyone feels at home enough to just pitch in and the site
runs its self

Your so sweet !! Sometimes we just need the littlest things like posting questions

I think that you are doing an awesome job in the situation and limitations, Amy!! I am staying and am willing to help with anything that you need! Everything doesn't have to be perfect in order to have a good time. Since I first joined, I have loved this forum and all the members. There is no drama and everyone is like old friends who I grew up with. You can count on me to do anything that you need! There are enough of us with good intentions and desire to suceed for an awesome revamping team!

Im changing our look, challenge, colors and more so we can have a fresh start.

And my favorite color is red. Red is a color of confidence and will be perfect to start off our new beginning!

Im thinking we have had Betty for over 2 years and think it would be fun

you can count on my help! i had so much fun yesterday..well.. into the night last night, brainstorming with you! A board of charms and challenges sounds like an awesome idea! I can help make challenges.. love em..crop challenges too and digi stuff. The charms and tallies are above my head, so someone else will have to handle that LOL
So if the board is just challenges, will there still be design team type stuff, or strictly challenges and crops, and chatter?

OH I LIKE the Looney Tunes idea.

Looney Tunes is a cute idea, Amy. I like Garfield, too, since he has my personality. Geeze, my brain is spinning with ideas. Just make sure you let me know what I can do. I am great at brain-storming!

I think these are great ideas - a totally (almost) fresh start and re-vamping! I like the idea of new characters - looney tunes are good...... maybe we could even expand it to different cartoon characters.

It's great to see how you ladies are responding to a difficult time and, like me, don't want to lose this site. I am going to send some ideas to the current creative team and see what they think...... I'm full of enthusiasm for this site!!

We will be charms and challenges but we will do other fun things too.
We cant decide between looney tunes and charm camp....lol

I hated those little saying under our names (I didnt do those)

You dont know what your getting yourself into.....but its too late to get out now..
different characters might be fun...maybe certain ones for certain areas....ok lets think !!

Maybe I have no say so cause I have not been around much.. I just thought when I was DT here that there was too many crops.. Its nice to have Crops But not once a month. Its overwelming to me. I love to scrap always have. But I like to take pride in my stuff and take Time and do it right. I learned alot over the years and rushing gets you crappy projects but Time and love of what you are doing make Beautiful Projects to leave behind and cherish. I hope I am not stepping on any one by saying how I feel. Challenges are nice cause it gets you doing things you may never have done before. But having a time limit to me makes you rush and you get nopt so good stuff. Don't know about you all but Scrappy things are not cheap so you don't want to waste your precious supplies.lol
As for the name and logo theres only one that fits you so well.. Night Owl Scrappers...Who gives a hoot.. Owls can be your logo.. Anyone that Knows Amy She is Our Night Owl..lol
I miss some of you girls.. I took a look break from Scrapping for a Well as I had hurricanes, and Heath Issues But I have been back a while.. Just could not find the link to get here as I also had a computer die as well. But I got the name off Amys Blog and read this and thought I would share my thoughts..

and we have done alot of things together !
Your right everyone was planning crops so often and when we were done it was time
to start planning the next one, it was getting little out of control. But if you remember
right after I started the site Steph and Nessa were going to leave so I gave them the
site. We worked really well like that for awhile too. But now I have taken the site back
over to try and save it.
We have all our challenges set now to be done at your own pace and it seems to work
really well for our ladies
And dont think your ever over stepping anything here, your more than welcome to
speak your mind and ideas here !! I sure have missed you

Personally, I have done some of my favorite layouts in a one hour challenge !
No time to second guess myself. Some take me a couple hours, some a week or two. I do alot of scrappin and look forward to the monthly crops, and the weekend crop and chat. But I have 55 years of pictures to scrap!
I have only completed 125 pages so far this year and behind my goal. I love the challenges and motivation and inspiration. That is a big part of Sassy to me.

Not a Night Owl tho! I am in bed by 9:30 unless there is a really good reason!! lol Janelle

Oh I have seen on some bopards they had a picture section and you just have to add the layouts to the board. You can always do that till you get a gallery.. Just a Thought..

I understand that.. Some people can work fast while other cannot and it can be overwhelming.. I for one do alot of detail and it takes more time for me to whip up something that I am happy to put in my books.. I am sure you understand what I am getting at.. I don't just slap a picture on pp and cardstock. I used to do that when I was a begginer till I learned that I was wasteing my Supplies.. To Me scrapping is a work of art And I like my Masterpieces..lol But Of Course this is just me.. Everyone is different and I was only explaining how some people can think its too much and as a DT here We had had to do so many crops and have samples for our challenges that was due before the crop not counting what other duties we had and (at the Time I we did not have sponsors so we did this out of fun)also send out prizes it was just too much and alot of us left cause of that. But this was way in the beginning when amy first opened the group. I am not saying do away with the crops just don't have them so often...

I know what your saying Angel ! We were just talking about how we had way too many crops
before. Steph ran those and we sure did alot of them. We were so busy planning,making samples
and buying goodies that after the crop was over it was time to start planning again. I for one
got burned out doing them every 3 weeks. And your right you do what you have to do when your
on a DT but when your not getting supplies all the work is just for fun and we were so busy working
we didnt have time to play too We dont have a DT now cause it was too hard to find goodies.
Steph dropped the team months ago.
As for the gallery I thought about that and wondered how many photos would it let us post ?
Im looking for a gallery again but most are such a pain in the rear !!

Give me a couple more weeks (hopefully less) and I'll be up and running again. Sorry I've been MIA for so long...summer does that to me. I'll be here for as long as the site stays. Change is good...lovin' your ideas so far!
