Valerie's "Pop Quiz" Challenge
Do you remember the dreaded pop quizzes? Oh, if I'd only paid more attention! Well, I hope the title of this challenge doesn't scare you away. It's actually going to be fun. I'd like for you to create a layout - OR- card that has something on it that "pops" - you know, a 3-dimensional look to it.
There are many elements that can be used to achieve this. Pop dots is the first one that comes to mind. It's an easy way to lift something off the page. In addition, you could bend the wings on a butterfly to have it appear to be flying off the page. You could also stack several elements to have a raised look. I'm sure you will have other ideas as well. Since the 3-D look is sometimes difficult to see in a photo or scan, be sure to tell us about the "popped" item on your layout or card.
And since pop quizzes are written tests, I'd also like to see something written or drawn on your layout or card. It can be written journaling, doodling, hand drawn stitching, etc.
I look forward to seeing some ideas that we can all use to give our layouts some pop! I know you will all score an A+ on this one! I will send a RAK to the winner of this challenge (chosen from a random drawing).
Entries are to be newly created for this challenge. There is no combining of crop challenges. All entries must be linked to this thread by midnight PST on Monday, September 14th.

I crimped all the edges on my flowers and leaves and pleated a section of the strip of black polka-dot paper.

Berta, such an awesome page! I love the heritage pages and wish there was a charm for them. I even have some neat ideas for challenges. Here is my "popping" page. The brads & butterfly gems pop, being that they are 3-D, but the poppingest is the flower which has a flat paper layer, a raised paper layer, 2 chipboard flower layers & a center.

Here's mine and my popped items are the sticker snowflakes down the center of the pages and the stars on the right side.
