There are mouth watering cupcakes all over the place! And when I think of cupcakes I think of BIRTHDAYS of course Your challenge is to scrap any birthday pictures you would like! What's the catch you ask????? Well at the Cupcake Scrapshop, Colleen even posts scrumptious cupcake recipes...... SO here's your recipe for the challenge

Easy Cupcake Recipe
This simple yellow cupcake recipe creates a cupcake that is perfect background for your creative decorating ideas.

• 2 1/4 cups all purpose flour: cardstock
• 1 1/3 cups sugar: glitter or bling
• 3 teaspoons baking powder: at least 3 different patterned papers
• 1/2 teaspoon salt: ribbon
• 1/2 cup shortening: handwritten journaling
• 1 cup milk: journaling strips
• 1 teaspoon vanilla: chipboard
• 2 large eggs: buttons


And YES this is a real recipe you could make

This challenge will be worth 10 points towards your Grand Opening total. Entries can be any sized layout done in paper, digital, OR hybrid. Layouts must be newly created and must be posted to this thread by Midnight PST, April 30th.
There will be a drawing from all entries in this challenge for a fun kit from Colleen at Cupcake Scrapshop!

Great job ladies, here is mine.

I did it!! The ribbon was hard to sneak on there, but I managed it in the end. And I threw in a flower w/ brad for "icing". Also, since this page is for my sister's book, I didn't do the journaling...I left it for her. But it WILL be handwritten because that's the only option I left her!

I saw this one in the gallery last night! What a great pic!

Finished this one last night. The bling is in the ribbon I used on the ribbon slide. The chipboard is this neat checkmark I got in a kit recently.
