'Lets Pretend' challenge

Post  Berta on Fri Apr 30, 2010 1:11 am

Letís pretend that all you have in your stash is 3 sheets of double-sided patterned paper and 1 sheet of solid cardstock. Thatís itÖno buttons, brads, ribbon, lace, bling, or flowers, no alphas, etc. The only other things you have are cutting tools, adhesives, ink, stickles, and pens. And of course your photos. Letís see what you can do with them. Anyone who takes this challenge will be entered in a drawing for a RAK from me.

These were the three PPs I started with. Theyíre part of the new Brook line from Crate.

And this is what I did with them.

Entries are to be newly created for this challenge. There is no combining of crop challenges. All entries must be linked to this thread by midnight PST on Monday, May 3rd.

PLAYERS:
Brenda
Karen
Terri
Janelle

Ok this sounds hard but when I looked back at my last couple pages
I did I started thinking I can do this. My last pages only had a couple
things on them and they would like fine without them.
So I will give this a try at my crop Smile

I think that NSD challenges should help us to think outside the box. What an awesome way to celebrate the day.

Sorry I didn't see your question yesterday Janelle. Yes you can use your cutting system to cut alphas. I don't have one so I cut my with scissors.

To answer your 2nd question. You have 3 double-sided PPs so that means 6 sides. It can be less of course just not more. You can make your embellies (flowers, stars, whatever, from the PP) I cut my bugs from the flower paper that I used. Does this help?

I used three Cosmo Cricket papers for this (the red polka dot was the reverse of the large flowered paper). The "love bug" title was diecut with my Cricut. This is DGD Gracie showing off her two new bottom teeth! Thanks for the challenge, Berta - this was fun!
