Linda's Flower with a twist layout

Post  redd1977 on Thu Apr 29, 2010 7:34 pm

You've heard that saying April showers bring May flowers.

Well with all the pretty homemade flowers I've see on the layouts I thought it would be great to have you do a layout with a homemade flower on it....BUT here is the twist. I want you to add a face of someone or something in the middle of that flower, you may do more than one if you want but remember there has to be a face in the middle of that flower.

I can't wait to see what you gals come up with.

Everyone who does this layout will have their name entered for a small rak from me.

Entries are to be newly created for this challenge. There is no combining of crop challenges. All entries must be linked to this thread by midnight PST on Monday, May 3rd.

PARTICIPANTS:
Berta
Deanna
Jill
Karen

Oh that's funny Janelle. Hope you can find a picture to use, I used a 1 11/16th circle cutter on mine. Any size you want to do is fine.

Linda I love your challenge, and I love the handmade flower you created to use for the photo center flower on this layout. Did you make the flower petals out of ribbon or strips of paper? I love that flower, and I am going to try this on a layout.

Deanna I love your "Lickety Lick" title and how you created a flower out of stars. You were able to do this challenge without making your layout girlish for a boy.

Jill - I love your patterned paper and all the purple on your layout. I like your handmade flower and how the shape of the petals really tie in with the wings of the outfit she is wearing.

Thank you, I used strips of paper. I can't wait to see yours.
