December 5th Crop & Chat

Since I was late posting the signups I will get things going for this weekend!

Now that I am done with my sale...only one this year...now it's time to get my personal stuff done, and that includes ALL of my Christmas cards to send out!! I am so behind!! But anyways...my challenge for you is an easy peasy card challenge this weekend! Just use one of the two sketches to create a card or two and share them with us...they do NOT have to be Christmas cards since some people might actually not be behind and have all theirs done already, lol, so any theme goes!!

I started on these very late last night but decided to go to bed. I will work on them this afternoon. It is dark and overcast here and the temperature is 20 degrees so I have no desire to go outside.

Hello ladies! How are your cards coming along??


I have had a busy weekend so far....last night I had a sleepover at my friend's house because we had an early morning this morning doing crafts with the kids today at a craft sale....no selling for me at this one, but I did tell them that next year I definitely want a table, it was a VERY busy place! Went to her house to visit and unwind for a little while when we were done and just got home about half an hour ago. Tonight I really need to do some major cleaning up in my living room, I have started but it's slow going as I am totally purging all kinds of crap! LOL! No more moving around piles of junk that I just don't have the gumption to sort through, lol! So, that is my plan for the night as well as laundry and probably some supper! Probably no card-making for me tonight, but maybe tomorrow evening

It's nice to spend some quality time with friends once in a while to unwind and just chat and do some things together with your kids. Good for you! Everyone needs to take a break to recoup. I just got on the computer after my DS & girlfriend spent some time online tonight. Going to the gallery now to post my cards. BRB!

We went skating today...it was the first time for me in at least ten years, probably more, and I never really did get the hang of it back then, lol! So, it was an adventure....I managed not to fall at all, and I discovered my poor feet do not agree well with ice skates! I did take the camera and got a few photos though, it was the first time for Austin and he had an absolute blast!!

Not sure what my plans are for the evening, I would like to work on the card sketches but that might be our activity for tomorrow evening for me and Austin to work on cards together, so tonight I might just work on a quilting project I am determined to get done for my mom this year (I started it two Christmases ago, lol!).

Steph, love the card sketches you chose. I has been busy here this weekend. I just got on the puter this morning to try to do some catch up and dear hubby just came home from town with work for me. Yippee... Not!
