Well gals we cut it short... I was tired and we ran out of what we really took to do and didn't care to run home and get more layouts, although we had a wonderful time.

Great layouts ladies.
I love the snow picture Linda.
Martha, I hope your family gets feeling better soon.
Jill, I hope you feel better soon too.

Here is my layout for the weekend sketch. And I used brads, and felt embellies for the embellie swap. I also turned the sketch on its side. My layout looks crooked but its the picture I took.

I got the buttons, flowers and bling (in the birdie's eye) from Sherri today... and the birdie from Steph this week... all in the embellie swap!

Hi ladies. I'm able to check in real quick. We had alot of fun scrapbooking at Ben Franklin...wow do they have alot of new neat papers and embellies. I was able to get this challenge done so I will upload it tomorrow. You girls are doing awesome pages...I'm liking what I see! Hope everyone is having a good weekend.

I haven't scrapped at all this weekend. Sad

The weather was too nice to stay inside. Had to take advantage of the perfect weather and get my front yard work done. 9 HOURS!!! Yikes!! affraid

I hurt EVERYWHERE right now. I plan to scrap tomorrow afternoon no matter what else comes up. I definitely deserve some scrappy time!! Hope everyone who's sick is feeling better today!

Wow - I wake up - get some coffee - turn on my laptop - log on to SS and I see all the wonderful layouts!!! We have alot of talent here on Sassy Scrappers! Thank you everyone for taking part of my challenge and there is still time to participate - Linda E. - what a beautiful "snowy" picture!!! We are getting ready to head to my dad's house in the Twin Cities to do a few more things on it before it gets listed on the market in a few weeks - it looks like it could be a nice day out - at least the sun is out - and no wind - I hope you all have a great day and I will be back to chat later tonight - michelle m

Martha and Michelle, those are wonderful and Sherri love your different take on it! clapping

Today is little Marcus's 2nd birthday and since he's not with his parents we didn't really have a party or anything. They called and said Happy Birthday but he doesn't know what they're talking about. Michelle, I guess you two share a birthday! We took him for a haircut at Cookie Cutters since they don't have a kids' hair cutting place where they live and then we took him and Kaylee to a yummy Mexican place.

Bellies all full and I have him down for a nap and Kaylee is settled with Tinkerbell DVD, DS, Pixos, and some washable markers. I'm about to go try scrapping!!!

Here's what I did with the sketch. We have a new grandson due the end of May. We're all pretty excited as it's been almost 3 years since Jeff and Kim buried their infant daughter (Jeff's 1st child). They're really excited and yet a little apprehensive at the same time.
(The jewels and 'Congratulations' rub-on were in the RAK I just got from Michelle M...thanks Michelle)
