Weekend Crop & Chat May 15th

Happy Friday Ladies!
It is still morning here, but I know some of you are verging on afternoon so I will get your challenge posted.......

I have been in a funk lately with this terrible back pain and left with absolutely NO mojo. In fact the only inkling of mojo has gone into getting some digi kits created for digiscrapdesign.com go check it out! But even that has been a HUGE struggle. SO that brings me to my challenge.......there are 2 options you can do one or both but they must be separate projects.......Each will get you an entry into the prize drawing for the RAK I am giving and you can choose to have digital or paper prize, your choice.

Challenge #1........ INSPIRE ME
I am inspired by TECHNIQUES, SCRAPLIFTS, and SKETCHES. Your challenge is to go find a technique you have wanted to try, or find a great LO from our gallery to lift, or find a sketch that catches your eye and create a LO or project from that inspiration and post it here.........you MUST tell us the technique you used, post the LO you lifted, or post the sketch you used.


Challenge #2..........USE ME
As I said, I have been working on digital kits to sell. I am giving you (this weekend ONLY) one of my kits for FREE. Click HERE for the free SWEET MEMORIES KIT by Wacky Scrap Designs (ME) you can also find a freebie on my blog that coordinates with the kit. If you download my kit, you MUST complete a LO and post it here this weekend and you can use my kit or personal use any other way you choose, I just ask that you give me credit

You have until Monday, 11:59 pm PST to have your LOs and/or projects posted in the gallery and linked back here to be entered into the drawing for a RAK from me. HAPPY SCRAPPIN'!!

These are great challenges Martha!!! We're having Austin's party tomorrow and doing a bunch of running around today to get ready but I think I can probably get to at least one of these!

I don't do digi at all, but hope to give number 1 a try...my mojo must have taken off with yours this week....let me know if you see them and kindly tell mine to get back here...

ABSOLUTELY!
If you don't digi but still want to partake in challenge 2, by all means, print off some of the elements to use on a LO or card or project!!

LOL!!! Mine was MIA all last week but came back a couple days ago! Yay! I have a ton of fair and Six Flag photos to scrap and already have my technique for #1. I'm going to see if I can figure out something for #2. I'm not a digi scrapper either.

Fun challenges Martha. Hope your back gets better soon. I've been struggling with neck pain...so I feel for you! It's gotta be tough with five munchkins running around. Take it easy...if that's at all possible!!

You all don't have to do the challenge #2, just thought it might be fun for digi scrappers or some of you who could print some elements or just for fun if someone wanted to try digi.

So glad you have your mojo back Berta!! Always a good thing. I have another steroid injection on Tuesday morning, hopefully this one will help more than the last.......

i havent had any mojo either lately. Ive had gardening and yard clean up mojo, just no scrappy mojo! Im going to work tonite on this!

I love your digi kit but presently I am using dial up and it would be next weekend before I could get it downloaded. I will make sure that Terri knows about this challenge as she will adore your kit also.

Great challenges Martha. I will try to do #1. I can't do #2 as I don't have a program to use for digi scrapping.

I guess we have all lost our mojo. Mine left too and I want it back. This was a busy week for me and the weekend will be too, but I will try to get one done.

Oh man!! I really need someone here to SLAP MY HANDS!! This week is fair week and DS brought me home some cotton candy last night. I'm sitting here at the computer eating it. Now all my keys and my mouse are STICKY!!! I would be yelling at the girls if I caught them doing this Bad! Bad! Bad! OK I'm going to get some wet wipes and practice what I preach...NO FOOD AT THE COMPUTER!

My shoulder problem that I had before Christmas is back and getting worse by the day! I have a note from my dr. to go to massage therapy but I haen't found a place here yet.

I'm working on getting party stuff done...made some macaroni salad, cutting onions for hot dogs and burgers, need to make the hamburger patties up and mix up some iced tea. My dad is supposed to be flying home tonight and Austin wanted to go "help" my mom pick him up, he loves watching the planes, but apparently there has been an issue with the plane and he isn't sure if he'll make it home tonight. If he does though, my mom will pick us up and take us out there...Austin doesn't want to go to bed, just in case! LOL!

What's up today girls???

We have a game at 9 this morning... but it rained like cats and dogs last night.... so I don't know if we'll have the game today.... I have a hundred things to do outside.... but again, it'll depend on how wet it is.

We also have a PIT of a house.... it shouldn't take long.... just picking up, putting away laundry that DH did, and vaccuuming, but still need to do it.... we'll see how it works out

Still no mojo here...sorry Martha, Berta and Steph that you girls are in pain. Still no scrapping here and haven't all week....to busy with all the kid things going on I want it to slow down. DD has gymnastics today and I have a huge pile of laundry to do, cause none of it got done during the week, when we were running for this and that! That is such a pretty Digi kit Martha...and can't wait to see what you Digi scrappers can do with it. Berta dear you sure are fast and your layout is wonderful. Guess I better get busy with housework...Yuck!!!

It must be the week for pain........I had a steroid injection Monday, and thankfully it's working, at least for now.

We don't have any place we HAVE to be this weekend, so I'm thankful for that. DH and I plan to get out and do a little shopping and go to our favorite market. That's always a treat when we can do that on a Saturday. Can't afford to go there very much, and we don't typically have time anyway. Not sure what we'll buy, but I'm sure we'll have a wonderful dinner tonight!

Okay, I'm off to download your kit, Martha. I should have some time to scrap this weekend. Just finished up my dt duties for the month, and I always look forward to being able to scrap "for me"!

We're home from TBall and brunch... time for a little snooze...then it's time to go play with paper!!!

We're having Austin's birthday party at the park today. There is some nasty looking clouds outside and I really really hope they move on in the next two hours, or at least don't open up until after the party! I still have hamburger patties to put together, and need to get everything packed into my cart. I have a feeling I am going to be wiped by the time I get home this afternoon. My house is looking pretty rough too Michelle! I need to do some super speedy tidying before we go!

I got this done... but my old computer that houses my scans is not connecting to my network right now.... so I'm gonna have to wait to post... darn it.... I got three paper layouts done.... one is still drying though
BUT... now I'm on to digi
