Steph
I am a single, stay at home mom to my 3 year old son Austin. We live in British Columbia, Canada. I have been scrapping for about 7 years, since I graduated high school and went on a trip to the UK with my grandma. I moved in with my other grandma when I got back to go to college, she took me to a Creative Memories party and I started scrappin my many many photos from my trip. I dabbled here and there after that for a few years, until I was pregnant with my son in 2005. I put all my other crafts into storage and became strictly a scrapbooker...and eventually branched into a "paper crafter". I LOVE to alter almost as much as I love to create a layout, sometimes more. I scrap because I like to have something for my son to look at and know about his childhood. My mom has albums and albums full of photos, but I have no idea when any of them were taken, who people in them are, or what the story was behind any of the photos. I want my son to be able to open his album and have the story right there for him to read long after I am no longer here to tell him the story myself. I love trying out new techniques, styles, or products and stepping outside my own proverbial 'box' to meet challenges or to just try new things for fun!

Re: Steph
She sure does! She has albums of her own, then she has an album(s) for each of her children (there are 5) and each of her grandchildren (there are 10 of us, I am the oldest, plus 2 step...so 12) and one for each of her great-grandchildren (there are 3...Austin, and my step-cousin has two a little younger then him). She somehow keeps them mostly up to date...something I will NEVER accomplish! LOL!!
