Ok, so we goofed this week and forgot to PLAN the crop & chat for this weekend, but I am going ahead and posting anyways, lol!! Nessa is on her way out of town for the afternoon/evening so I will be your gracious hostess for the evening  :D

So...I guess we need a challenge...everyone loves sketches (I hope!) so check out the latest at Pencillines (one of my favorites) and let's see what you can create with it this weekend...post by midnight PST Sunday Smile

I love it! I am going to TRY t work on it later today...if I can drag myself away from the computer long enough, lol!! Hmmm, maybe I should try a little reverse psychology and say I am NOT going to work on it, lol, cause we know how far I got last weekend! :D

So... what's everyone doing tonight??

I'm waiting for the storms to either come in or leave... DS has a game at 7pm... right now it's starting to look ugly... but we've had SO many rainouts... they'll probably play till we have bad fields or a tornado warning!!

BUT... if it DOES rain out... I'm going to bed! ROFL.... I'd really like to scrap tonight, but I'm WORN OUT.....

Guess what was in my yard today........

LOL............we have a young guy come to mow the yard since it's pretty big and he found a tiny baby deer alittle ways from our house. It's very strange to see a tiny wild animal like this so closeby. But, remember the page I did recently of the deer eating all our plants, shrubs, flowers, etc.?!?! LOL  Oh well, I guess here's another one to be eating everything in our yard.

I did look it up online and it said to leave it alone for awhile and most likely the Mother is around but only comes around 2-3 times a day to feed it. So, we'll keep an eye on it to make sure she is around. I did snap a couple photos.

Later, she did end up getting up and hopping back up into the woods just behind our house. Must have gone looking for it's momma!

Oh Deanna, he's so precious! I hope he finds his momma!

Hubby had a game tonight and I have to work, but that's about it. I just finished scrapping one page, and now I think I go back and scrap some more with this new sketch!

Steph, I know what you mean about pogo, I have Maj Jong on the computer and I'm so addicted to it! I go back and forth between the game and the internet! Not a good combo for getting anything done around here!!

Awww... that fawn.... so adorable! I also hope it's mama is close by!

Sounds like you guys have a busy evening too.... our game got started then the lightening and thunder started and they coaches called it after the first inning (T-ball.... 20+minutes lol)..... We got lucky... as soon as we got in the car, a BIG crack of lightening and thunder rang out right above us and then started the DELUGE..... couldn't hardly see for about 10 minutes! But, we stayed dry! Now, I'm just plain tired....

My mom bought the Word Riot game, so we have been playing that every night this week, lol! She goes to bed quite early, but by that time I am usually hooked and stuck in there most of the night Rolling Eyes

I'm afraid to check that one out! I get so addicted to those games!

I got my sketch done tonight, but I'll have to wait till tomorrow to take a picture. We're supposed to get rain all day tomorrow, so it sounds like it may be a good day to scrap! Maybe I can even get hubby to take me to the scrap store! LOL

Well girls, we woke up this morning to the sound of a beeping. I thought it might have been a car alarm, but come to find it was our computer. Apparently our hard drive bit the dust. My hubby has a basebal game today, as long as it doesn't rain, but after that we'll be taking the computer in to the shop. Hopefully we can recover what's on the hard drive. Well, I guess I'll get more scrapping done! LOL Was I just complaining about being on the computer too much??? I'll be sharing my hubby's laptop for the rest of the weekend but I'll try to hop on when I can.

Such a busy summer day!!!

Well... my DH is off... he left this morning and will be back in about 3 weeks.... the house is trashed since we haven't been home on the weekend for the last month. SO.... I'm feeling compelled to clean a little...... Maybe I can get the first layer done and get scrappy this afternoon!!! (That's my plan anyways!)

Deanna, that fawn is precious! Tammy, sorry about your hard drive. I don't know what I'd do if mine died, it's the only pc in this house. Last night, a few co-workers and I went to see Sex in the City. I didn't expect it to be as good as it was - but it was. We laughed, cried and laughed some more. Today, I am working on my interview layout. . . and cleaning the living room/dining room. Got lots of laundry, too. Kayla's operation is Wednesday and I want to have the house in order so I can just focus on taking care of her. The rain stopped, it's just humid now.

Thanks for sharing that sweet photo, Deanna! There are so many sweet baby animals around this time of year.

I attend my DGD ballet recital last night. I hope I was able to get some good photos! I'm going to scrap some today (if and when I get off the internet!!). What a great sketch!
